Fun idea!! but for me still having tension in the strings surrounding the ball really detracts from its "authenticity" ... however I do realize you might not have wanted to sacrifice the racket !!

I keep coming back to this. All the lovely, different textures and the baby's oh so smooth skin and calm and peaceful demeanor and the overhead perspective works so well too. It is just gorgeous.

Alice, I love the direction you are going in with these. The original you have been using gives a luminous, almost liquid, quality to the images in this series which I also love.

At first glance I thought this was the foam from an incoming wave, but on second glance it looks like a stony covered area partially covered with ice. In either case I really like the ephemeral nature of the reflection, the overall details captured, and the contrast of the two parts.

Interesting choice for your crop or perhaps the actual setup. Using the title "watcher" suggests we should be paying attention to his man's eyes so I find it strange that we cannot see more of them. Presumably this was done to be intentionally disconcerting. I will come back to this again later to see if I like it more the second time around...

Deb, this is lovely. The center looks like a lovely filigree brooch or pendant and I really like the way the elements gradually appear softer the further away they are from the center.
