The Shadows Of The Birdby photokid69Comment: Wonderful shot. Nicely framed. The shadows of the rotor blades fall in a good position in the image. Lots of interesting detail but yet my attention always comes back to the "bird". Top 5. |

Afternoon sunby ladpupmoeComment: Good shot overall. Technically excellent and visually interesting. I find myself wondering "why a leaf?" and there is something about its shape that imo detracts from the image, but I enjoy the light on its veins. I wonder if it would have been a stronger image with some separation between the base of the leaf and the adjacent dark area, just a thought. 7 |

Light & Shadow Sourceby Nadine_VbComment: An interesting concept, but this does not engage me at all emotionally. The most prominent part of the image is the metal socket thread, but that is the least interesting thing and also at odds with the focus you want given your title. 5 |

dysembarkby skewsmeComment: Wonderful sense of movement in this image, and it almost has the feeling of a wood cut/etching. Great composition and contrast. Love it! 9 |

Shadow of a treeby whiterookComment: I like this shadow, and shadows of trees in general! You have kept a nice amount of detail in the shadows. Did you consider cropping the top to exclude the white fence and benches etc. I think that would have strengthened the overall composition. |

One drink to manyby JCrest01Comment: I like the patterns. Well composed. I wonder if you tried this with more contrast? Having darker shadows would have made this an even stronger image, IMO. |

Shadow Racersby andrewtComment: I love how the shadows provide information about the form of the "objects" that is otherwise not apparent from this pov. The three are well positioned relative to each other, and I think the shadow "in the lead" looks like kermit riding a bike! Top 10. |

Pansyby MeistroliComment: This is visually interesting, but it fails to engage me in any other way, which is what I am looking for in this challenge. |
