Striking image, and in general I like images with strong patterns and shapes, but for my eyes the railings here dominate the image too much. They lead my eye to a part of the image that is hard to make out and does not appear that interesting at least in terms of foliage.

Interesting. It has a woodcut/etching feel to it which I like a lot. Just enough light on the tree tops to make it special, and lovely mixture of appealing hues.

Great aerial/overhead view, geological formation, and coastline but in this very flat light, especially with a large dark area, the image sadly lacks visual *punch*.

Nice, I like how the checkered pattern on the umbrella breaks up the repetition. I find the branches and leaves a bit distracting, especially with the brightness of the yellow, but I realize with that POV you probably couldn't include the umbrella without them being in the frame.

This is fun and a creative take on the challenge topis, but it seems rather flat. I wish you could have captured it in more interesting light, or processed it in some way to make it more interesting.. possibly more abstract (but then that is my bias for what to do with interesting shapes).

An excellent and very powerful image. Back to comment and bump. The tonal range and the young man's expression, especially his eyes, are great and I like the overall cohesiveness in the picture's tonal range and palette. The unusual position you chose for his hands feels a little strange /unnatural, especially the top one, but I've decided that actually adds something to the image.

Wonderful image, full of symbols. Curious why you chose a hood for the woman, but then I am not familiar with the source of this quote and it may be quite obvious if I was!
