i like reflections of lights on water, and yours are done well, but overall, my eyes are searching the dark a lot. i think there's just a little too much of it in the photo (for my liking). i wonder what it would look like with the right side and top cropped so that the reflections really become the focus of the shot.

composition / appeal -- good. maybe a little tighter crop.
technical -- good. reflections are well visible but lights are not blown out ... well balanced.

that's what my porch will look like soon. i like the shot because i like fall where i live right now, but i think i would like it better if the leaves were more colorful and not mostly brown. am i asking too much when i'm suggesting picking a few and adding them to the mix?

the first thought that popped into my mind is 'why b&w'? i'm curious to see what color the train is and why you converted it.

composition / appeal -- composition is fine. i know there's no way of avoiding the wires and the sign to the right, i would probably try and clone them out for use of the photo outside of this challenge. subject not terribly exciting to me personally.

composition / appeal -- so so. composition is fine, i like the harvester on the left to add some color, and if i look closely, i can also spot the grapes, but, to be honest, this isn't the most exciting shot to me personally. i am also not sure what i would suggest to make it a little more appealing for me ... sorry.

i loooove beaches, and i do like to go to the beach when it's not too hot, so i kind of appreciate that it's not sunny in your photo. makes me smile how kids never care about their clothes on the beach and i like how the little boy seems to be wary of the waves. bet you are getting reflection comments for this week's challenge, too.

i'm sorry, in my opinion, this does not depict negative space, there's too much going on throughout the picture. as for the photo itself, i love the shot, the angle of the baseball cap on his head is perfect, and so is the grin. i would probably crop the right side a bit to remove the person that is partially visible there. -- gr8photos.

i'm sorry, in my opinion, this photo does not really use negative space. yes, the girl is small in comparison to the house, but there's the wood texture, and the window, plus the plants also fighting for my attention. this may have been increased because everything is b&w, of course i don't know what color the house was. -- gr8photos.
