Rock and Roll Hall of Fameby STEINRComment: Ok, I guess I'm not sure what your subject is. To me, it's the building and it's pretty much in the middle of your photo and taking up a lot of it. Just the fact it touches the right hand side and not the left isn't sufficient. As for the photo, I love the sky, the building's pretty interesting, but overall a bit soft. I'm also wondering what other (less obvious) angles you could've chosen rather than straight on. You are probably somewhat restricted by the water ... |

Butterfly Raspberryby shareinncComment: Great capture, good off-center. I know how darn hard butterflies are to capture, but I'll say it anyhow ... if your background was less distracting (e.g., more evenly green) you'd score even higher with me. Did you get a chance to move around the butterfly and see if there are nicer backgrounds? |

Rangerby JB707Comment: I like how your subject takes up the whole photo but the focal point is clearly off-center. Nice tonal range, b&w is a good choice. Would be great for a catalog or something like that. |

Wheel of Fortuneby crabappl3Comment: Nice sharp focus for a long exposure, I guess the ride was closed for the night? Meets the challenge. I think I would like to see a little more (not much though) of the wheel and less negative space, but that\'s just personal preference. (6) |

ELLEby jenaromComment: Awesome shot. Great composition for a magazine with room for text. I would see this with the grass cloned out but of course you cannot do that for this challenge. The lighting is beautiful, just slightly textures, her eyes and the lipstick gleam and match the top ... it all looks very professional. Ribbon material if you ask me :) (10) |

Practical Photographyby dasserComment: One of my favorites in this challenge. So wonderfully composed with lots of space that can be used for text, but is just as interesting w/out. Those beautiful huge brown eyes peeking through ... if I had taken this it would be hanging on my wall. You might very well get a ribbon for this :) (10) |

National Geographicby InnaNComment: Totally hit the spot ... I can absolutely see this on the cover of a magazine. As a photo, evokes a lot of emotion, which is good, plus is well executed. I wouldn't be surprised if you got a ribbon for this one ... (10) |

Vogueby arnitComment: I've seen her in so many pix, but her eyes are still wonderful and stunning. Love the pose and the slight breeze through the hair, can absolutely see this on the cover of a magazine. Just some minor overexposure on the hands plus the lipstick clashes with her top! Those are nitpicks, this is great work, Arni. (9) |

Bird Watcher's Digestby TerryGeeComment: Awesome capture. Could see that on a bird watcher magazine. Love how the insect and the head of the bird are in focus, just a litlte more DOF to have the body in sharper focus would be even better. Nice unobtrusive background and room for text. High marks.
