Challenge met. To be honest, besides meeting the challenge, I am not sure there's much that holds my interest in this image. It's in focus, maybe a little dark, but not very inspiring to me. Sorry.

You got the right concept going here in my opinion. Great b&w and the wall works well as negative space. I just don't think there's enough of it. More wall (if that was possible) and loose the big frame which dwarfs what negative space you have. Would've made the boy look smaller too and emphasize the point that (I think) you are trying to make. As a photo outside the challenge I love it. The pose and look on his face are great.

I really like this. The lighting is exquisite, very even, and everything's in focus. The black background contrasts the soft white petals nicely and I like that the stems are visible, but dark against the background. Adding this to my favorites. :)

How did I miss this one when browsing through the bridges challenge results? Wow. I like all the different layers of the bridge and then the building and the castle. The tonal range is fantastic and the river is used beautifully as negative space. I'm adding this to my favorites :)

Great one. I love the bright colors, really makes me feel that I'm looking straight into a burning fire. Nice double-play on 'hot', too. Normally, I'd say I want to see some hotsauce in the bottle, but on second thought I don't think it would work here. Just curious though if you tried. In my top five picks this week. :)

What an exquisite photo. I like it and not just because it reminds me of my entry to the "No Hand of Man" challenge ;) I guess you must be living somewhere where it's winter right now ... . I like the drops and the red berries poking through. The background is not distracting (good) but I wouldn't complain if it was even more uniform (cardboard held/positioned behind the object often works for me). Still, one of my top five picks this week.
