Man Shavingby Photo JimComment: Was there a specific reason why you saved this file so small? I think it could've benefitted from a larger file (and less pixelation). |

Abstract Catby justineComment: He/she isn't so abstract, you can clearly recognize it's a cat. Love how you framed this and that the eye is in focus. Beautiful. Definitely one of my top 10 this week. |

Snail on dead leafby chariotComment: This shot would've been awesome (and is still pretty good) if it wasn't so dark (or is it just my monitor? but most other shots submitted look ok to me). Love ghe composition (consider moving the leaf and snail just a tad more to the left / your camera to the right) and the detail that is visible and your DOF. |

Girl and Black Swanby lisaeComment: Good contrast, focus, a little grainy (low-pixel camera?). Would like the girl and swan to be closer and bigger in the scheme of things, but that's my personal opinion . . . |

Reach for the SKYby RonSBComment: This is one of the shots where I wonder why you converted that one to b&w? The colors of the trees with the sky and clouds would likely give the shot more impact in color. There's not enough here to hold my interest this way, sorry. |

A Walk In The Gardenby bhop73Comment: I know you say the cat's OOF for a reason, but unfortunately, the reason is not obvious to me when I look at your photo. The cat's also washed out (I'm sure there's a reason for that, too), but overall, IMO, the picture isn't very appealing to me. Sorry. |

Lounging Aroundby PaulinaRDComment: You chopped poor kittie's ear off!!! Other than that, I REALLY like the close-up and angle. |

Please Don't Go To Workby jennymaComment: B&w works well here to tone down some of the things cluttering up the background, cleaning them up would be even better (less of a snapshot feel that way). And I know how convincing animals can be when you "abandon" them. I would be ready to call in sick if the dog looked more at me, and the snout was a little lighter. |

Utensils?by fjComment: Oh, my, spaghetties are such a messy affair, aren't they? Great expression on the face, DOF and focus are spot on. The window in the background is pretty distracting though. Depending on the surrounding that we can't see on the photo, would it have been possible to move around to the left some more to avoid having the window in the shot? |

Hannah restsby ZeissmanComment: What a cutie she is! If only her face wasn't in the shade and her features were more visible, this would be even better. |
