I like the idea of this, but something seems really off with the bride. I'm guessing it's the lighting, but she's not sitting well in the photo. Too pasted in without blending.

I have real mixed feelings on this one. First thought is that I really dislike selective desat. It just isn't effective. Yet your choices of the color and where you've done it is really quite interesting. The color itself is intriguing.

Her face is so wonderful, I was thinking that you ruined a tremendous photo by your choice of the desat. But then I wonder whether or not I would have spent so long looking at it without having it drawn me in.

7 for the photo. +1 for making me think so hard about it. There's a good chance it would have been a 6 as is. 8 because you made me start thinking about changes. I think by getting rid of the cup and the yellow thing to the left of the cup and the yellow at the top of the mirror, that it would have been 9 worthy. Just enough subtle bits to add intrigue.

Motherhood

I really like how you edited this. The texture on the wing is wonderful. It doesn't bother me, but I know that some people would think the top of the head and the little area on the neck are blown. I always look at things like that and see if it can be brought back (simply because people seem to hone in on that). But as I said, it doesn't bother me.

The only nit I have to pick is the cropping. It seems squished on the right. If you want to keep the whole tail, is there more on the bottom you could bring in? Perhaps putting the babies on the rule of thirds line might give it more space? I'd rather crop in from the left, though.
