Sorry -- it's another one that just looks underexposed instead of low key. If you would have kept it in color and exposed it right with some cool side lighting, it could have been stunning, imo.

A good attempt, but a couple of thoughts: It's not straight. You need to rotate it a small bit to the left. Also, you have dust on your black background. It distracts from the photo and yet is easily fixed in post. Also, it's not really low key. It's just a nicely exposed photo on a black background. Some more dramatic side lighting were parts of the subject falls into shadow would produce a more low key image.

The description of the challenge says mostly dark with a few highlights. While this is a fun shot, it's mostly light with a few dark elements. Fun find, but not low key, imo

This is a marvelous photo -- but it doesn't fit low key, imo. It looks more under exposed than low key. But I do like it, just not in this challenge.

Doesn't fit low key, imo. It's not really mostly dark -- it's mostly mid greys and the white hat isn't really a highlight. sorry.
