I figured it was you -- I love this shot. One of the few shots I could see hanging in my house. I may have to steal your idea sometime and try it with one of my egrets. Unfortuatnely I'd have absolutely no idea how to do the background or it's reflection. You should do a tutorial for this one!!

Awesome capture!! I didn't get a good one of the seagulls chasing the puffin. I had one that was an ok shot, but that's about it. It's a hoot that this many people are going for puffins at the same time. :)

It must be selective desat month. This is the only shot that does it effectively, imo. I'm still not a desat fan, but I do love the robin and the shadow.

I like the idea of this, but something seems really off with the bride. I'm guessing it's the lighting, but she's not sitting well in the photo. Too pasted in without blending.

I have real mixed feelings on this one. First thought is that I really dislike selective desat. It just isn't effective. Yet your choices of the color and where you've done it is really quite interesting. The color itself is intriguing.

Her face is so wonderful, I was thinking that you ruined a tremendous photo by your choice of the desat. But then I wonder whether or not I would have spent so long looking at it without having it drawn me in.

7 for the photo. +1 for making me think so hard about it. There's a good chance it would have been a 6 as is. 8 because you made me start thinking about changes. I think by getting rid of the cup and the yellow thing to the left of the cup and the yellow at the top of the mirror, that it would have been 9 worthy. Just enough subtle bits to add intrigue.
