It's one of those shots that wouldn't do well on DPC, because there have been so many gorgeous closeups of these birds. But I really like this. It's an interesting habitat shot and I love the bokeh of the water. You might want to consider cropping more off the bottom, however, I don't think it adds much and detracts from the subject.

Lovely bokeh. I wonder if you could have used natural light and a tripod or perhaps put some tissue over the flash to tone it down a bit so it wasn't so harsh. I like the centered composition and I like the reflection on the table. Nicely done. :)

It's a wonderful shot, and the processing in parts is wonderful, but the haloing around the mast and the bridge really detracts. If it's topazed, you probably could have gotten away with masking out the sky, mast and bridge and not topazing that area, just using other adjustments there.

I really like the photo, but I find the top 1/4 distracting. If it were either just the black or just the white, it wouldn't be as much of an issue. there's so much to look at in the cracked mirror, the reflection, the grain of the table, that the black and white adds one layer too much. (not voting at the moment)
