Blackbird On Blueby HipychikComment: I find this one fascinating. Absolutely perfect choice of background color and I also love the border -- it sets it off nicely. What a great idea, great shot, and wonderful processing! (not voting, just commenting) |

Graceful Mission by SandyPComment: Ok, since I'm not voting in this challenge, and it's driving me up the wall, I'm awarding bluebirds to my 10 favorite shots. I'll post them in the posthumous awards thread after the challenge is over, but I just couldn't wait until then!
You already know what I think about this shot. I think it's spectacular! Your egrets are truly awesome! Here's a bluebird:

Homeward Boundby MelethiaComment: Ok. Since I can't vote on this challenge -- I'm giving out bluebirds to my top ten favorites. I'll post them in the posthumous thread after the challenge is over -- but I just couldn't wait and had to start now.
What a wonderful shot! I love that you included some foreground in this image. I wouldn't have thought of it, and would have been tempted to crop it up. However, it really adds to this image and makes it as wonderful as it is!
Here's a bluebird -- and good luck in the challenge!!

Descent by aprudhommeComment: I find this quite interesting. I keep coming back and looking at it. I would have cropped in from the left a bit to get rid of the black blob in the top left corner. Very cool shot! (not voting, just looking :) |

Intensity is a perfect title for this one. It's very intense, yet peaceful at the same time. Love the background. Love the negative space. Very nice!! Here's a bluebird:

Last Takeby mRpOeT93Comment: I like shots from behind -- I think they tell an interesting story. I love the softness of the grey, and I like the feet. I would have been tempted to crop off the pole on the right. (not voting, just looking :) |
