your processing looks a little flat and pretty blue. Did you think of trying a white balance correction on the snow and maybe a linear gradient to bring out the sky? Because it's a nice scene that doesn't seem to show well like this... (sorry, kiddo!)

It's a beautiful shot, but it looks soft to me. Have you tried topaz sharpen? I also would have liked him a bit more off center to the right. He can use more negative space in front of him and a little less space behind, IMO.

Naw — I haven’t tried to tame them. I keep thinking that I could, and it would make things easier. Right now I have to set something out and then wait for them to get used to it and get over the nervousness. That’s why I was laying on the floor for 45 minutes. That was actually a lot quicker than it usually is. Maybe because it was so close to dark, that they were in a hurry to be doneâ€Â¦?

I like the shot quite a bit, but I don't understand what it has to do with year...? I would have rather seen it in "Happy" because it seems like it would have fit that so very well! 7 for the shot.
