I'm glad that Lydia commented. When I was voting, I was stunned by this shot. What a bunch of work, and what wonderful idea! I loved the feet.

But then I looked at it and I didn't like the color cast. It seemed a tad underexposed. And the shot itself just didn't do it for me. I gave it a 6, but I really, really wanted to give it a 9. The idea and pieces were sooooo excellent, but I really think it could have been a better photo, even with a color balance/exposure correction. Add some more processing to make it pop and bit more and it would have been truly spectacular.

Huge difference between participants and non-participants, but I think it's simply because it didn't seem to be someone making a fool of themselves. The shot itself is truly wonderful. Congrats on the HM!

Along with the conversation going on in a thread, this seems a tad oversharpened. I don't see halos, but the background is getting a bit grainy and the eye and face are popping a bit to hard, imo.

That being said, fun shot! -7-

Absolutely, incredibly fantastic. Stopped me in my tracks the first time through. Same the second. Should be hanging on my wall. I'm not sure I'd ever get tired of it.
