The never ending lawn.by David NewlandComment: The in-focus branches at the top seem to create a false sense of the depth -- they seem nearer than the in-focus middle of the path.
I wonder how this would look if the nearest foreground was in focus with a constant blurring to the rear, rather than having the in-focus area part-way back. |

Hey, Even your Lawn needs a Vacation!by Shutter-For-HireComment: This reminds me of a joke I just got in an email:
Two guys are stopped at a traffic light when a truck loaded with fresh sod stops beside them.
"Gee," one says, "I wish I could afford to send my lawn out to be cut." |

My Heartby LydiaComment: The B&W, high contrastm and graininess all work to help emphasize the progression of geometric shapes. |

The Boxerby CraftyComment: I like your lightwieght body armor ... I almost did something with boxing gloves myself, but I never got around to it. |

Cow-Board Boxby kleskiComment: I like the concept. I wish it had been aimed slightly to the right -- that bit of fence post bothers me a bit. |

2-august 08 flowers. burstby rozComment: The starburst effect mirroring the shape of the flower works well -- though it would be truly amazing if they were real sun flares. :-)
The way you faded the edges also works well with the limited DOF. |

Knik Glacier 003by ShutterPugComment: I really like the composition of this one -- if it were mine I know I'd play around with the contrast and colors a lot, but this gives a great feeling of what the place is really like. |
