Cutting Corners

I made this grayscale because the colors were so far off due to the bad/mixed lighting in the pool hall, and the limitations of my ten year-old P&S Olympus camera, working in Auto mode (see below).

It is (pleasantly) shocking to have gotten it so "nice and sharp" with a 1/20-second handheld exposure! :-)

By the time I decided I was going to use this for my entry, it was too late to try and edit the colors individually, or to edit out the spots on the tabletop. However, I might not have done that anyway, since, with so many spots, it would be cutting it close to the line regarding removal of "distracting" elements ...
