Framedby lmhrComment: Be wary of over-sharpening a photo like this. The significant color differences between the frame and contents can create a "halo" effect and make it look like a composited image... |

Hannahby ZeissmanComment: A nice portrait...in the context of this challenge I want her hand/pinkie to be the focus -- I might have tried to draw attention to it by calling the photo "Etiquette Lesson" or putting a tiny (doll's?) teacup in her hand. Then let her arm lead to her wonderful eyes and expression as the "positive" element. |

crosswalkby austComment: Clever use of subject-within-subject composition. |

Moon Birdby lisaeComment: To my eye it would be stronger cropping off about 1/3 from the right and bottom, leaving the bird and the top three branches. Proportionally more sky and a bigger (more visible) bird that way. |

Vigilanceby syamjonimiComment: I like your use/control of DOF and the interesting color effect -- I'd be interested in knowing how you did it and seeing the before/after versions. |

Romantic spotby habesComment: I agree, but not high enough for it to be safe to face away from the ocean or to be that "distracted" |

Bambooby jpooleComment: I'm usually bad at botany, but I don't think that's bamboo...no effect on my score, however. |
