Thanks for your comments and ratings, 9th place with my first entry, not bad, especially considering it was a lucky shot, just an experiment which ended up with a reflection.
I was trying to make a <A HREF="//www2.photosig.com/viewphoto.php?id=334027" target="blank" >drop shot<A> by placing a blue glas bowl in the sink and having water drops falling into it. One of the 300 shots caught the splash and because I had not paid enough attention to the background (the comment made by cq107 is absolutely correct) you can see the reflection of the white sink and even the overflow holes. Later shot with a yellow cloth turned up better in terms of color although I did not capture the right moment again. Taken handheld, 1/1000 s, F8, with a home made close-up lens from some lens elements of my old SLR zoom lens (need to use a close-up lens otherwise the camera needs to be to close and gets wet). The color is caused by flashing into the blue glas bowl, the water is just blank water.

ok wonderfull shot. but like MANY this week it is flawed. Your bacground NEEDS to be solid... the whitish background reflection in the lower 1/4 is VERY distracting... to alleviate this eye sore, try some black cloth where the reflecton is coming from.....

it's really cool the way that the splash is reflected. how does the water get to be so blue? food coloring? white balance? reflection of blue background? anyhow, nice job!

This is a neat shot! It's a conventional splash... but the reflection is good! Very nice coloring. Object is well composed. - 8 - JB

I like this picture, but is more a picture of a splash than of a reflection...
