Reaching for the stars!by jmleliiComment: Even though it's pretty funny (to me), I'd crop out (at least most of) the sign at the bottom -- I think you could still have a traditional 1-1/2 : 1 aspect ratio. As it is, I think the sign grabs the eye's attention away from your subject(s). |

Inseparableby DefyTimeComment: Excellent subject choice; I might have tried to tone down that one hot spot, but overall lighting is good. |

Coneheadsby vtruanComment: Beautiful shot of the cones; I like the square composition divided diagonally. Looks like a bit of the canvas crept in cropping/rotating; I'd crop tighter to take that off, or apply a few pixel-wide black stroke as a border. |

three firefightersby fstopopenComment: Excellent positioning gets you away from the typical "news snap" picture. Just for the purpose of this challenge, I might have tried going to B&W, as all the excitement and color of the flames distract just a bit from the "threeness" -- and B&W "might" help focus attention on the firefighters. |

Dandelion with Seedsby e301Comment: Nice original take on a most common subject. I think I'd crop it square instead of a little off like it is, but everything else looks excellently done. |

Shadowsby rickhd13Comment: Creates a strong abstract with color/tone; I'd have probably cropped down to a square or made it more tall and skinny -- the aspect ratio seems a little odd to me this way. |
