The Giftby GolferDDSComment: The stone looks great. I think I'd have just used black for the type, I find this combination harder to read. |

Silver on Blackby Bear_MusicComment: I really like seeing the texture on the "inside" part; good exposure overall. Type works OK, although I like to make it a little bolder when reversing out of a black background; if this were printed in a magazine or (worse) a newspaper, that type could possibly plug up and be less readable -- it looks fine on the screen though. |

The Black Pearlby vasilkovayaComment: I'm not sure I've actually seen one before : )
I like the presentation a lot; maybe the catchlight could be a bit smaller. I wonder what would happen if you reflected a little light from the left up under the pearl to lighten (not eliminate) the shadow.
There's plenty of room for type; I'm a little surprised you didn't add any to this one, but then I add type to almost anything. |

Garnet Tennis Braceletby shutterflyComment: For me, this seems just a little too high-key for an ad, especially since it's for the specific product and not a store or artist. I'd want to be able to see more definition on the rear part of the two center-left segments, so I'd really have a good idea what that thing looks like before I went to the store. I do like garnets though : ) |

Elainesby Rando D300Comment: I guess there has to be a bug macro in every challenge : )
Good choice of presentation for this piece. |

Grandma's Atticby tfarrell23Comment: Good stylistic fit between your subject and type of "store" you operate. Typography works, although I'd have moved "Grandma's Attic" down and left just a tiny bit to get it more completely out from under the shadow. |
