PROOF!by GeneralEComment: Originally posted by bpickard: So if the light goes off......what was illuminating this photo???!!!! I don't see evidence of a flash here. This is not a scientific experiment. I remain to be convinced. P.S. How did you fit inside? |
I did use a flash, but disguised the fact with Curves and a little cloning. I used the timer, and remained outside while the shot was taken.

Thanks, this perfectly describes the intended response. : ) |

Not Again!by GeneralEComment: Originally posted by chuck50124: this would have been better without the blur in the foregroung. good job |
Thanks -- I really wanted to keep some reflection to make it "clear" that I was outside the window.
Glad to spread some chuckles around -- thanks for the comments! |

Hop In, I'm Drivingby eostylesComment: Probably has a license at least ... : )
Although I suspect the translation would probably come out closer to "Where to, Mac?" |

Secret Garden by BobsterLobsterComment: Good choice of a photo to demonstrate the effective use of this technique. Nice parallel lines with the two major trunks. It's possible that moving slightly to the right would show a bit more of the further trunk. |

What's In The Box?by mrmorrisComment: Good idea and execution. I'd have probably had the title make a reference to the myth of Pandora's Box. |

Getting to 1stby L1Comment: "On the outside, looking in," sounds like how a hitter might explain taking a called third strike ... : )
Nice action capture. |

Four Windows and a Thumbby GeneralEComment: Originally posted by train: I dont get the title I can clearly see 5 windows and if that is a thumb you could have cropped it off |
I titled it that way because the fifth window was off on a separate part of the building, similar to the way four fingers are clustered together and the thumb is off a bit to the side.
I thought about cropping the foreground, but I wanted to experiement with simulating a shallow DOF look instead. |

Starry, Starry Nightby GeneralEComment: Wow, what a nice variety of comments! I knew a lot of people would hate this, but it's nice to see a sprinkling of the others as well.
While agree this was highly processed, I'm not sure it's really over-processed, considering what I was starting with:
Re-sized original capture.
