Actually, that's the Navy's Blue Angels team, in San Francisco for Fleet Week celebrations.
I had to turn quickly while walking to capture this formation, with the older camera at a wide-angle setting -- I actually cropped out a lot more flared sky from the upper-left.
I don't know why I didn't adjust the tilt more ... I was kind of out of time as I think this was shot the day of the deadline.
Thanks for all the comments -- some of them suggest some possible additional editing. |

Multnomah Falls, Oregonby DrAchooComment: Somehow I've missed that when in Oregon -- I'll have to check it out.
If you want the border that heavy, I think it would look better with the outer part of the photo faded back, since it seems to be intended to be less important. If I were going to frame this at all, I think I'd rather fade the outside and omit the line, or use one just a couple of pixelswide in white (or maybe even black). |

Highlandsby NazgulComment: Looks cold! Good job with the snow and capturing what looks like fast-moving clouds -- adds a god sense of dynamicism to what could be a flat scene. |

Let me assure you, if you were a poker player and saw those hole cards, your pulse rate and blood pressure would undergo an immediate and substantial change -- interest wouldn't begin to describe the sensation.
Of course, things quickly return to normal as you realize that all the other players are holding garbage (you'd pray someone had two aces!). |
