Downhill is the BEST!!!by dwterryComment: Nice panning job.
When I was a freshman in college, we were kidding a bike-riding buddy about how he was "over the hill," because he was turning an ancient (to us) 25 years old.
"Yeah, but one thing about being over the hill," he replied, "you get to coast all the way down."
I once coasted for 13-1/2 miles down State Highway 9 from Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard) to the town of Felton, near Santa Cruz, California. That was fun : ) |

Physics...by ApeeComment: Nice ideaa! If, instead of using the shallow DOF, you picked one of the harmonic node points on the string, you could have everything in sharp focus except the string to either side of the node -- it would look like your middle string but with all the frets in focus. I think that would be an even better demo of the physics of music. |

Moonlit Pierby kgearyComment: Looks like a jetty or breakwater, not a pier, but I'll believe you about the moonlight : ) |

Greyledge Fallsby SJCarterComment: I use borders a lot, but I don't think this one helps. Instead of the line, I prefer take an area about the thickness of what you have between the line and the edge and fade it back to 20-30% opacity/saturation.
The blur on the water and the color of the moss aznd rocks is very nice. |
