Uninterested by mm767capComment: Colors on the cliff wall is brilliant. Nice crisp image. Good effect using slower shutter speed to get blur on the waves, "showing" the power of the waves. Hope you didn't get wet, great point of view (looks like you were in a precarious spot.) Good luck on the voting. |

Guidedby qui-bowComment: I like the blur for this image, the composition with the person (impression of a monk) walking a "corridor" toward the light has a very mystic feel. I'm trying to guess your technique; slow shutter? deliberate slight OOF? and just a bit of camera movement during the shutter snap? Please put details in the photog's notes when the challenge is done voting. Good luck on the voting. |

U.S. Open 2009: Center Courtby Five_SeatComment: Great use of a tilt/shift lens (I assume) to create the effect of a miniature. This is well done on how the viewer is focused on the court. |

Herring River, Autumn Stormby Bear_MusicComment: Well done HDR. Clouds are very dramatic. Like the bit of red on the boats and the composition. Like how the the viewer is drawn to the red boat and the viewer is lead down the waterway to explore the rest of the image. |

Solitaryby beneeComment: Interesting image. Looks like a very old prison(?) I like the composition of being lead down the middle to the end of the long corridor. I think it looks "balanced on both the right and left with the stairs on the right countered with the open cell door on the left. Like the choice of B&W to enhance the abandoned "dreary" feel to the image. |

That Special Momentby BarbBComment: Great image in silhouette; the sun is in the perfect spot. Like how the viewer can see the outline of her face and most of the outline of his face. I'm just waiting for him to kiss her and then they can ride off into the sunset. Very romantic image. Well done. |

The sun's afroby prperoldComment: Very picturesque. Nice DOF, very crisp and clean image. The colors of the sunset and the sky look very natural. Nice silkiness of the water. Like how the outcropping of the rocks walk the viewer out to the sunset. A breath taking image. |

Kaiserpfalzby h2Comment: Like the tones of the B&W. The rocks give the foreground some interest, the sky is dramatic, very nice details in the trees next to the castle. Looks like a well done image. |
