Daydreamsby eikidigiComment: Very nice dreamy feeling. Love the colours in her face and hair. I also like the thin border in this case. I makes ordinary shot look like a professional portrait. The only thing - I would have made the thin line evenly apart from the edge all around (it looks like it has wider space on the side than on top and bottom). |

…to be an astronaut.by jas0420Comment: You got great clarity and sharpness. One of the best moon shots on DPC. B&W works great in this case. Be careful though, you are close to blowing out the whites in this shot (upper right) and the blackness is becoming unrealistic. If you look at published shots of Moon, the sky is never this perfect black. But you get high score from me - this is one amazing shot. |

My lost puppyby pitsamanComment: I can identify with a dream like this. Great use of soft focus here. Healthy colours, love the diagonal composition. The sharpness is good. My only suggestion is not to cut off the ear. |

Dreams of Freedomby paganiniComment: The details in this shot are amazing. I can almost feel the fur. The bear has such a dreamy look in his face. Too bad the background isn't different colour (you had no control over that though). I would have cropped the top of the background off just below the dark line that runs across. Other than that, there is not a thing I would change. Well done. |

Dragon's breath...<gulp>by Everyday ReneeComment: Great sunset colours, beautiful symetry. You probably intended the centred horizon, but I bet it would have looked more dramatic if you had positioned it below or above the centre IMO. No points taken off though. It's still nice to look at. |

Nightmare On Fifth Streetby Silent SisterComment: Very well done. Lovely contrast and colour. Sharpness is great for a fire shot. How did you get so close without melting your camera? You must be a firefighter. I can see this easily published for an article on forest fires... |

....linger for a while....by ellamayComment: Beautiful fog shot. This has such a peaceful feeling. Colours are very subtle and calming. Sharpness is very good for a shot in a fog. I am just missing a tiny bit of the ground in this shot - it might have contrasted nicely witht he dreamy tree tops. But well done. |

Time Travel...Dream or Reality?by SimplicityComment: This is very unique shot. I bet in it's original state it wouldn't be as dramatic as it is in inverted format. It almost looks like an x-ray of a train. The colours are great - subtle browns and oranges with hint of blue oposite colour. The detail is also amazing, considering this is a negative. Good diagonal composition. |

Abductionby AntithesisComment: This is fun shot to look at. I love the abstractiveness of it as well as the blue and purple hues of colours. The lines are just beuatiful. I know it's in a dead centre as others may suggest, but in this case it works because it's surrounded by other smaller cirles making it into nice complexity without being too busy.
My only suggestion is to try using a polarizing filter to avoid some of the reflections in the glass. It might make the sky darker as well, and your circles would stand out more. But you would have to experiment with the filter setting. |
