Infrared bonsai juniperby speaseComment: Nice IR image. Great sharpness. The highlights are a bit blown out and there is a lot of colour noise in the background. Have you tried this as a b&w image - that would have reduced the noise. You can actually convert this into grey scale and then apply colour like sepia or other tones virtually eliminating colour noise. |

Closing of Dayby justin_hewlettComment: Great subject. Unusual hues. Nice complimenting border. The tree seems out of focus and you probably tried to compensate by oversharpening - hence the hallo effect around the branches. |

Frozenby PixelstateComment: Great abstract. Love the glowing colour. The "bull eye" composition is really what takes away from this photo. Perhaps you could try a different crop. If you divide the photo into equal quarters, I can see a great image in the bottom left quarter or even the bottom right quarter by itself. |

Filamentby NitinComment: I am a fan of negative space, although here you have a way too much of it. This photo would benefit from a tighter crop. The exposure is right on, love the monotoneness. The uneven border takes away from the simplicity of the photo tough. |

The Line Effectby CutterComment: Nice attempt of an abstract macro. Few suggestions: needs better focus, adjust the exposure so the highlights are not blown out, simplify the white thin line - it's a bit fuzzy. Also try differently coloured lights (even flashlight with gell) to cast some more life into the image. Good try though. |
