Effective and intriguing, it's more of a use of natural lighting to create an effect than a straight nicely lit image. It might have been better to crop the top off to create a more compact and interesting image with the effect of creating an impression of indirect lighting. A good solid entry into the challenge - not particularly interesting, but an effective demonstration of how to use light to it's best effect.

An effective demonstration of lighting and how it can be used creatively to achieve a special effect. This image, with it's attendant grain, creates an ethereal atmosphere - a very noir concept which is intense and powerfull, it sparks the imagination and tells any number of different stories. One of the best entries in this challenge so far which should place well in the top ten if not a ribbon winner. Well done.
