| More of a lighted shot than a creative use of lighting, this image falls short of meeting the challenge criteria in several ways. While a good image, the author might have chosen to use the available lighting to create an effect rather than just a image that is actually of snapshot quality. A little more thought would have helped as there are possibilities in this image such as a macro which would not only have met the criteria, but have placed high. |

| Lighting is somewhat dramatic which works well with the brilliant red of the flower. I would like the center to be as sharply focussed as the outer petals. |
