I agree that the best way to improve is to study your own work but also to study others.
Take a concentrated look at photos that really appeal to you - things like exposure, color, composition, and then try and think what you could do to make your own shots better. (I also find commenting helps me because I'm forced to think).
Even the photographers who get the high scoring shots keep looking for ways to improve.
The other thing to keep in mind is that score isn't everything. People like different things and people vote in different manners. Concentrate on making what you do the best you can make it first. |
