Wow! Great detail on this bird! I love bird shots, so you know you're gonna get at least one good score!! My nit is the fence - I know that wildlife shots don't always "present themselves" in a perfect setting, but the fence takes a couple of notches away from the wildlife feel of this photo. I think cropping the trailer houses might have been a good idea that Ansel would have approved of. The wagon wheel and water trough also say to me, this isn't quite as wild of a scene. Other than those items, this is a pretty nice photo. My personal bias (no score effect, really!) but to me, wildlife pics need to be color.
