Very interesting idea! I'll bet you're getting alot of "out of focus" comments. Challenge wise - I think this really says color, but the wildly out of focus look isn't all that appealing (maybe a different color combo?). It's a good type of subject to "play" with. Very strong colors. The three pink squares seem to have round circles in them (by design?). 6 Swash

That looks like a beautiful tree! Focus seems pretty good, but the blossoms seem a bit indistinct. Was the wind blowing? Maybe hit the sharpen a little too hard? The photo does have a sort of artsy feel to it, but I'm unsure that was on purpose or incidental. 6 Swash

Very sharp photo! Well laid out set up. Challenge - I don't get any sense of color, these or any other (O.K. black, white and gray are colors, but not the ones advertised on the crayons). This is an interesting idea, but it doesn't quite work as titled. The red hill and roses do fit, but the sky looks like a poorly spray painted wall (I suspect a photo manip here - totally legal one, but didn't quite work). Nice photo of the pillow. 6 Swash

Fairly sharp photo. Challenge - a bit off - it says to make color the important factor of your photo; so showing several cars...is green the important color? Yellow? Red? Interest - low - would you print and frame this on your wall (would you think anyone else would)? Try to imagine something interesting, then try to photograph that idea. It's a nice drawing, interesting and colorful. Blue is a strong color in this pic, but I think yellow or red are more "the subject colors". This is very close to DPC rules on "Other People's Art", no, it's not the only thing in the photo, but the sheets aren't much of "your addition" to this (monitor under one sheet). I\'m having a hard time coming up with a true positive thing to say about this pic. First, the challenge aspect - although black, white and gray are all colors, the photo does not enhanse or draw attention to any of these \"colors\". Focus seems a bit soft on the hand (esp. the fingers). Contrast - nearly non-existant. Finally, your title - Life - I\'m dense, so how does a hand on a mouse say \"life\"? Really, I curious now. Castle Peak in Pink

Wicked color combination, fun! On the down side - the clouds seem grainy or pixelated (esp. in the whiter areas), some of the tree's color was adversely affected and the shadows on the snow were all changed by your pink manip. I think I can honestly say I would have scored this at least a point higher, maybe two without the pink. 5 Rob the Swash

Cute kitty! It seems either over-exposed or over sharpened (I can't seem to ever tell the difference). Cropping off the hind end seems a tad mean. The blanket background sort of works, but the wood siding doesn't offer much contrast.

I'm so sorry, but I don't get this at all. Is this supposed to represent the opposite of color? In the wrong challenge? Photo quality is O.K. and I am open to hearing your point of view, but otherwise the best I can go is a 4. Swash
