Burning Bush by crabappl3Comment: Very striking! Great contrasts and just the right amount of red. 9 Rob the Swash |

Waterlooby jeffphotoComment: Very nice scene and I think a good example of soft focus. The colors are very nice. I do see the connection with the challenge, but it's one of the longer stretches (IMO) (How about if a leaf or two were falling in the frame?)

Blue Skiesby keoneComment: This is a very pretty blue with nice shading. It's incredibly creative and brave to submit this much negative space (or incredibly lazy), but it lacks any focal point...(backspaced silly comment).
The best I can go is a 6. Rob the Swash |

"It's like a tornado hit in here!" -- Teenage Tornadoby StevePaxComment: It's a pretty clear photo, I do see the problem here. While this is a fine photo, technically, I'm not quite up to "buying into" this stretch of the challenge topic. I will say this is a creative take (been there, done that). Color seems fine; cropping is your choice, no definitive subject; Focus (see cropping). 5 Rob the Swash |

Late afternoonby Stephen CleggComment: Gosh I try to say something nice about every picture....I see so little opportunity for praise, how about Lots of negative space.... I honestly don't know what you were going for. I see a heavily pixelated rainbow in the upper right corner and the rest is a pleasant shade of gray. As much as I like gray, I cannot offer this photo any sort of good score. I've never scored below a 3.....(but I feel almost forced to do so). 3 Rob the Swash (please explain this to me...my brain hurts) |

Summeryby ThomasComment: Very well taken photo. (the reds might be turned up a touch too much, on my monitor at least) This shot implies sun heavily, but I see no effects of weather, now a sun tanned skin (tan lines in the face or elsewhere) might have been called an effect of weather, this is more like anticipation of weather. 5 Rob the Swash |

Cornerby bioshoreComment: Very pretty picture. Is that a patch of sky above the fully displayed petal? That was sarcastic, sorry, but this picture is all about the flower. I know it takes weather to grow a flower, but it takes dirt, water, seeds and a whole lots of other things, too. While this is an exceptionally pretty picture, I can't give the higher end score due to the challenge. Very nice texture and detail. 5 Rob the Swash |

Easter Kissesby daysezComment: Really cute. Good focus. Nice (a bit busy) background. Color seems good on the basket and cloth, but the kisses seem overly saturated. 8 Rob the Swash |

Little Brotherby karmatComment: Cute idea! I really like the eggs in the "nest" and the peeps looking in is a great touch, but the peeps seem a touch over exposed (more to the left than on the right). The candy egg looks slightly molested, but not too bad. 8 Rob the Swash |
