He moved! I think motion in this case wouldn't be needed, it makes this shot appear out of focus, instead. At first glance, I thought you had missed the subject intirely, was he walking that fast? As the floor doesn't offer alot of "interest", I would have preferred him a little more centered.

interesting photo and when/if we do a shadow challenge, repeat this shot, but don't like it much as a people shot. (You really cannot see the subject, more like the lack of the subject, as in her shadow)

I'm not certain the air bubble coming out of her nose is such a good idea, but the rest of this really works for me. Did you mean to get the camera and yourself in the shot? Water reflections can be tricky that way. Some of the reflections make her forehead appear "mottled".

Don't know if you were going for the motion effect, or if lack of lighting required slower shutter, but the overall effect is a bit nausiating. Low angle shot also adds interest, but nets a diminished view of your grouping. All in all, try getting to a better lighting situation and try looking downwards at your crowd instead of up, heads are more interesting to most than feet. Finally, if you are going to attempt motion, try smaller groups that are moving a bit more uniformly. You took a risk on this shot and I hate to score you down for it, but then some risks do that to you.

You are right, they are bored, which leads to a boring photo. Good color, good focus, O.K. background, for the situation. Maybe a bit too much flash, move back a step and try again. * Say something funny/silly/outrageous next time!!

Trippy shot! Multiple exposure? Is this "legal"? Bright light on left middle VERY distracting. Light squiggle on right middle center reminds me of a scratched slide photo. Too much overlaying, many of the faces are obsured.
I just can't "get behind" this shot, sorry. Photo 5 Creativity 9 People 5 total 5 (creatvitity alone can't carry this one, the people come first! Power to the people!)

Title implies there was a problem, what was it? Good photo, slight issues with cropping, i.e. part of the trumpet and music card lopped off, plus there is that xylophone hanging in mid-air.

Turn 'em around, let's see their faces (or at least not their b*tts). Right sailor overly bright compared to left sailor (in the same suit, I am assuming), try to balance more evenly. Centering the subjects wouldn't hurt, did the boat sway starboard?
