This shot isn't the most appealing for this child, I think you could've done better. Shooting people isn't about gettin them at their worst.

Great look. A little dark on my monitor...

very cute

background is quite bland, the change in it at the top is distracting. Noon sun lighting is bad. Should have had some light from the front.

what vibrant color! beautifully lit and what a devine face!

I would have liked to have seen more light in the eyes and slightly less red in the skin tones. the blue is also to strong on the rightside shoulder and arm lovely facial expression

The blue back ground is a good addition to those beautiful blue eyes.

Why so sad? Good photo.

Cute kid and great expression. The contrast of the yellow sunlight on her hair to the blue background is lovely. But the blue sort of gives a blue-ish tint to her skin too, that I'm not so sure about.

At first it looked like she had maku-up on, but I think it is the blue reflecting. It would have almost been worth cutting part of her head out of the picture to have a totally blue background. I like the expression on her face.

Wonderful face! The blue background really works in this one, but the white on top is distractive and the hair highlights are overbearing. I believe it would be killer if you crop the top to eliminate the white and crop on the left just beyond her hair so she is no longer centered, but offset to the left a bit. Doing this you loose a little of her hair, but that's okay because it leaves just the right amount of highlight in her hair. You might also adjust the levels to bring out her skin, but just a little.

She's not too happy, is she? Great capture, shame Emma's in the shade though. Would it have been possible to position the camera a little lower (even though you've made a good attempt to get down to her level)?

A little more light on her face would have been nice. VERY Cute! What's with the upper part of the background? Roof shingles?

Might've tried a reflector to bounce a little more light onto her face.

Might've composed the shot so the background was all blue, that way her hair would have a really nice halo effect.

Looks good when the shoulders are angled to the camera like that.

nice capture. I love the way her hair has caught the sun. Some fill-in flash would have helped to correct the exposure. I know how hard it is to get a great photo of kids - not like you can get them to sit still, pose and look at the camera until you get the settings right, so well done anyway :)

The luminous quality of this shot is beautiful.

Wonderful eyes, great look on her face. Darling. Lighting is little poor but this is really nice work, I like it a lot!! Congrats on a great shot.

My best friend has a daughter that looks just like this. She would shit a brick if she saw this pic. I must say, this will recieve a 10.

Cute shot! I fill flash would have really provided some more nice lighting on her face and skin... good job!

Cute.

Very pretty, well framed. I like the way the light glances off her hair, and the blue sets off the outlines of her body. The stuff at the top is a bit disappointing though.
