I know this is supposed to be dark, but how about burning the candle down half way. The glasses are "out of place/time". Your setting seems to be turn of the century (1900, not 2000), but the glasses are very current. Plus the reflection on the lens probably isn't a good thing. 6 Swash

dark! building is in dis-repair, but it's hard to see it. I think the left side appears to be the most broken down, could you have taken this shot from that side of the building? If your camera supports spot metering, this might have been a good time to use it. 6 Swash

Was the glare across the top on purpose? I don't get any extra meaning from it. I kinda like the glare through the tree leaves. 6 Swash

I really like the handle motion, good effect! Seems a bit red/orange, but so much of the rest seems "right", I am guessing that is how it really looks. Was the water drinkable? Probably couldn't avoid the fence, would have rather not seen it. All in all, there's nothing critically wrong with this shot, nice job! 8 Swash

Sooo many issues, so little space.....first, why sepia, it looks like a beautiful car and I KNOW it's old. Next, why on the side? Next, outside is overexposed, bad thing. Clear, well focused shot, but it still seems cloudy (could be the outside light again) Front of the car is too dark. I'd better stop before your score goes any lower (kind of a joke). 6 Swash

Cute idea, but isn't this a title thingy? (let's say we remove the title, it seems a little vague, doesn't it?) Suggestion: peek over her shoulder, show us something "good". 6 Swash

Challenge well met. (claimed milage questionable) Background, not crazy about. Focus is good. Framing: well, you cut of a toe and a third of a shoe. These two issues could have been on purpose, but it makes me want to ask why? My guess on the background is, you were attempting to "blank" it; as for the cropping of the shoes, I have no idea. I started you as a 6, the shoes still seem whole (my oldest tennis shoes have sole talk and holes all over), but the shot is really very good. How about bumping up one to a 7, O.K? Swash

Very nice. The closest thing to a "problem" that I see with this photo is the tank, it seems a tad too bright. On the other foot, compensating for that might have made some of the other parts of the train too dark, so I feel you balanced this about as good as possible. 9 Swash

Very cool picture. I am assuming you wanted the shoe and foreground as the only focal points, but I want more. The shoe seems on the dark side. I wish I could read the document title. 8 Swash

This is a wonderful piece. A tiny focus problem at the top and bottom, but it's pretty minimal. A well deserved 9. Swash
