I didn't see the movie the title refers to, I don't recognize the hardware directly in front of me, and at first I was certain the background was film, now I'm not so certain it's not a ventian blind, but I still like this shot. I hope you were going for something abstractly artsy. Interesting/baffleing shot. 8 Swash

Very impressive photography! How did you ever find this? Please tell me you a) found the pupi casing and b) knew it would open so many hours/days later! If I had any kind of suggestion, it would swing to the left a few degrees to show more of the pupi casing, but it's still a 10 by my standards! Swash

New coins, thanks for not pointing out the obvious. I would bet you were trying to avoid flaring on the coins, but in my opinion, you netted a bit of a dark image. Focus is really nice, most all the way back, but coins start disappearing towards the back for the darkness. Could this be on purpose? yes, but I don't know either way, so I wrote it up. I like the fact that you show both sides of these coins, it looks "scattered", but seems purposeful, nice. All my jokes for you got backspaced as non-functional, lucky you. 7 Swash

It looks like a new dolly. Well taken shot of this figurine. Your title leaves me a little cold (I thought my title was short!) In my opinion, Untitled or blank (if allowed) would have been better than none. 5 Swash

The Field

New baseball field? The head and shoulders in front of you is very distracting and breaks up the shot alot. (no 2nd baseman, pitcher, catcher, batter.....) Was it cloudy? What happened to the blue sky, I see the sun shining on the field. Lastly without point attached, the red bar...on the left seems straight, on the right of the head/shoulders it's jagged (on my screen). 5 Swash

Nice shot, well taken. I have to ask, what kind of egg? Your lighting suggests you have altered the color a little, but still this can't be a "regular" white egg. I do like your choice of lighting and background. Simple and nice. Score raised from 7 to 8. Swash

Wow, bet you feel either silly or way ahead of your time, considering next week's challenge subject. That said, VERY nice shot, if a bit on the plain side, sorry, just my opinion.... I find it interesting that some pencils look like they were two pieces of wood jammed together, while others look more "solid". I also notice that the stacking isn't wholly orderly, I like that, nice. The only thing that I think is on the low side is interest, that devil! Tweek that factor and submit this week for a slightly better score (a bit of a joke?) Try getting an ant to hold up one pencil....
