Do you want to shag now or shag later!

Very nice photo. I like how you portrayed the "kitsch". You chose your background well. I can't say anything how this photo could be improved.

There's something about this photo that I like. It's kind of kitsch, and it's a funny play on the genre of portrait photography (like an anti-cliche). Nice work :)

Excellent technical photo. Perhaps a vertical cropping, for my taste... 9

The background you chose for this is interesting to me. It doesn't seem to go with the doll, her hair or her dress at all. I can understand this, if you didn't want her to blend in with the background, but maybe blue wasn't the best choice. Maybe a pink would match her lips. Looks like she MAY have blue eyes, but too dark right there to really tell if they are blue or green. I LOVE how the ear rings seem to glimmer. I wish the necklace could do the same thing. I'm not sure if a verticle crop would have been better. I'd like to see more of the dress. The hair definately enhances the fact that she is new. (or at least very well taken care of). You LOOK at a dolls hair wrong and it goes all frizzy. Very pretty. Good luck with the challenge.

This is a wonderful photograph… The colours are remarkable, the background works superbly and the subject is exquisite. The dark colours at the back really bring out the features… About the rule of thirds, I don't think it counts with portraits. Finally, I think this shot could win – I can't fault it… (10)

doll is a bit too centered, might have been better more to the right of the frame, looking left ?

It looks like a new dolly. Well taken shot of this figurine. Your title leaves me a little cold (I thought my title was short!) In my opinion, Untitled or blank (if allowed) would have been better than none. 5 Swash

Beautiful doll. Nice background.

I like this too, the wonder of a new toy (if that's what you were thinking) is such a marvellous thrill - I haven't grown out of it yet anyway! I think this would work better in portrait format.

Nice picture, but I don't know if it really meets the challenge.

oh, it must be a "new" doll, right?
