The Dark Dark Woodsby ManicComment: I like how these two trees are "standing guard" over the forest. Sort of reminds me of a chapter in the Two Towers. (Can't wait to see the movie!) Were I to suggest any change, try creeping up closer to the trees and lowering your shooting angle, it would make the trees seem "larger than life". 8 Swash |

Unpruned melodyby JakComment: The silhouetted bird (crow?) doesn't offer enough to wow me. 7 Swash |

Frozen in the Mudby inspzilComment: Surprising, but I can see the outline of the frog better in the smaller view. Interesting idea, but to me, it needed more light to show off the frog better.

At the topby aroqueComment: Nice sky, but the haze is very distracting. Did you shoot this out of a window? I see two bars that look like florescent light fixtures and other misc. reflections, not good. 7 Swash |

The lightby dimitriiComment: Pretty, but it needs more interest. The sun glare is overpowering. Nice branches. 7 Swash |

Where The Sun Goes Downby greenem2Comment: Pretty, but it needs more punch. How about turning up the red channel several notches and saturate, it would make the clouds stand out more strikingly, IMO. 7 Swash |

Beavers Woodworkingby HBunchComment: Arrgggh, isn't that tree a bit big for a beaver? Great shot. Love the wood chips. I wonder how long it took to cut this deeply? I always thought they went for trees they could "manage". Nice framing. Too bad you didn't "catch him in the act"! (Now that's asking for the sun, moon and everything!) 9 Swash |
