| Kind of grainy. LOL. Just kidding. I really like the composition though. The contrast is great. I like the darkness against the light sand. The angle and framing/cropping are just fine. I like how you have taken up the entire photo with the subject. Definately looks untouched by man. Nice find. Good luck in the challenge. |

| I might have liked seeing something else as a point of reference, like incoming water, or a bush or something, but still a nice shot! |

| challenge met. i love beaches, the patterns formed by the water washing the sand around objects in its path ... and you've captured a very nice photo here. undisturbed sand is great. i wonder why you chose to use b&w instead of the warm colors of the sand and the different colors of the stones. i think they would've earned you an extra point from me. but, nevertheless, your entry is high on my list of favorites in this challenge so far! :) |

| Though this shot doesn't have a lot of "emotional" appeal to me, I do like the shot, and especially like the black and white. Don't think I would have liked it much in color, it wouldn't have the same stark, artsy feel to it. 9 |
