Painted With Lightby limerickComment: I really like the softness of the light in this image. It looks like an AJHopp - I wonder if it is?
The more I look at this, the more I notice the care that has been taken with the set-up and composition. Great stuff. |

My Inner Glowby mkothareComment: I know how hard it is to get these sorts of images to look good. If you have hollowed the apple out (which I think you have), I think some internal masking of the bright portion of the apple would've helped you to control the exposure a little more and get a more dramatic result. |

Forbidden Fruit.by twitisComment: Great bokeh but I wish the apple was sharper with more dramatic lighting. A pretty good image though. |

Apple Studyby LonzComment: Great choice of background but without absolute focus, I don't think these sorts of images deliver to their potential. |

Witheredby debapakaComment: I really like this but I think slightly more subdued or oblique spot lighting might have helped make the most of the wonderful texture here. |

Juicyby zackdezonComment: Slightly overexposed to my eye, but a nice image nonetheless. |

Appletureby sceneitComment: I wonder how many people will get the pun beyond the play on words and know that Apple's photo editing software is called Aperture. |

Other side of the fenceby PanksComment: The original: is truly horrible! Your image is a fair representation but I wonder if you could have been a little more faithful to the overall composition; portrait orientation, a more oblique angle, and a focus on the snow layered on top of the fence?
Having said all that, this is a nice picture in its own right. Good job. |
