I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Such depth to this image; a marvellous background with a compelling foregrounds. So many things to pick out as the eye moves from the front to the back of the image. I love the colour too - especially in the room the man is in. Funnily - the man in the room with his tie with the French context makes me think of 'Gyaban in a secret studio!'

Critical stuff: perhaps some darkening of the sky might have worked to give some added perceived vibrancy to the cityscape...?

Overall: Great image, full of mystery and voyeuristic interest.

Even the pattern on his sweater shows right angles! Beautifully constructed image - were you super lucky or is there an up street sign saying ' Kyphotic gentlemen with crisscross style patterned sweaters this way please'?

(and then the stone work, the fence reflected from across the road and the paving slabs to boot...)

Amazing image - would've gotten a 10 from me had I been able to vote.
