Shot from across the street, zoomed to 160mm at a very high iso.
Snaffles really liked this shot. I think it was the fact of both girls have similar pony tails. So here you go Snaffles! It's been some time, since I entered this style of photo. Especially in a freestudy, Gulp... So I'm keeping expectations low. Although, the comments received will well make up for it. Maybe even a posthumous too! Which I regard highly.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I love how you made me read before I looked - steering my eye around your image with you crisp focus on the signs. I also really like the tri-partite nature of the image - the signs, the walking girls and the background scene. Great choice to go monochrome with this - it really adds to the feel.

Critical stuff: I might have been tempted to clone out the car bottom right.

Overall: Well seen, well composed, well executed.

Love this. The silhouettes outside versus the window-faded people inside (and that hat!) and the multitude of signs offering so many options. Add some nice vertical and horizontal lines and you have yourself a very good photograph!

This had me looking for a while before saw the lovely repetition of the girls silhouette with the pony tail mirrored by the person inside, great seeing and timing well caught
