Umm… the full competition description says: “ Take an image that captures the bond between domestic animals and humans.” so the inclusion of my wife is a conscious choice here.

I think it’s because of:

1. Shooting through the multiple panes of glass of the building was in is giving some multiple images through refraction.

2. I think I added too much glow in post.

Hmm. Interesting. Well, my apologies then. It appeared to me, and kinda still does, that an art filter of some type was applied (not that I'm totally opposed to them as I've used them a couple times myself). Just seemed like a muddy image without much definition, and that seems to have been intentional.

Art is a finicky thing I guess. :-)
