I also took ‘out of the box’ to mean just that - like the rule break challenges we have had before.

Well then what does 'outside the box' still life mean? If you are gonna stuff these challenge entries back into the still life box, why did this challenge come to be?

I usually don't associate living things (people, animals, etc.) with still life imagery. Cute pup though. :-)

Gotta love the furry family members! I think this photo captures the theme of this challenge with flying colors! The funny thing about the 'still life' is that, when you think about them, there is no life in them at all. This pug is livin' the good life! This is my favorite photo in this challenge and I hope it wins... good luck!
