Nicely composed image with good depth and clarity. Nice dramatic clouds and strong colors. That palm or banana tree leaf in the left bottom corner detracts a bit but that's a minor niggle. The picture conveys a good feeling of silence. 7

quiet early morning symphony

Stunning image. I love that sky and the silhouettes of the trees on the ridge contrasting so starkly against it. It does not give me a very strong feeling of silence though as the image somehow gives off a feeling of turbulence and wildness because of the sky and the dramatic shapes of the trees. Still it comes close enough to conveying the meaning of the word "Stillness" to deserve a 7

Powerful image although I would have preferred the figure of the man to have been slightly off-center. Also that rock right up against his leg looks a bit out of place in that position. The image conveys a strong feeling of silence and desolateness. 7

The Silent Mask

The shot is technically very well executed with great detail and lighting and I like the way the outline of the mask and headdress fades away into the dark background. What spoils it for me is the blue strip of blanket that is stretched across the mouth of the mask and the whole frame. I guess it's meant to imply that the mask is silenced or silent but it somehow does not get that message across very effectively for me and as I said it detracts from an otherwise very nice shot. Maybe you could have used have used something else instead of the blanket to create the effect you wanted. 7

Nice depth in this lovely cathedral shot. I do feel it lacks a bit of detail though because of what looks like camera movement during exposure. Also the image would have been better without the person in the picture.
It does convey a strong feeling of silence though. 7
