IMG_1157train.jpgby L1Comment: I love trains! And I love figuring out how things work. This is just a cool shot for me to look at. Great leading lines and awesome tonality. Gives it a great old time feel. Best thing about it though is the soft focus. You did it perfect here. All the detail is there. Sharp as a tack this would simply be a mechanics illustration. Soft focus and it's simply art...

Painted with fireby tristaliskComment: Sunsets are one of those subjects that have to be really spectacular to make me go wow anymore. This one, though one of the better ones I've seen lately doesn't have that pop...

Hepaticaby scrum8Comment: Beautiful colors! I think it was jmsetzler who said that all shots should be b/w unless the color adds to the shot. This is a great example of that.

Whitman Memorial Clock Towerby NovaTigerComment: Like the frame within the frame effect. You do appear to be a little washed out on the tower itself and the lens flare on the left hand side (the leaves) is a tad bit distracting. Also, your sky color looks a little off. Too much green?

Wanna Play Some Hide-n-go-Seek???by taterbugComment: Dude, is this yours? (if you don't know what I mean it ain't you...) We need to get you a new camera for real... Fits the challenge, but it's not all that interesting. Your lighting has left an odd shadow line right down the middle of her face that looks, well, wrong. Your colors are very flat also. Noise and colors are prob only gonna be fixed when ya got a new weapon to point...

Christmas Eye Podby johnmComment: Very interesting POV! Not sure I really like it on an artistic level, but it's a great study shot in unusual point of view! Oh, which one's Waldo?

Waldo goes birdwatchingby willemComment: Great tones and composition! Love the way the trees lead you into the shot. Fits the challenge well, but truthfully thing this shot would be even better without the guy leaning into the edge...

Waldo in an Ancient Mirrorby mannjuditComment: Interesting subject that shows some potential. Where is this mirror and what is it's purpose? Did you desat the image in the mirror or is it a trick of the light? Too bad your sky is so blah looking cause I think a nice blue sky would add greatly to this. Centering the mirror in the shot (or cropping out further to give more room for a nicely off centered composition) would also help considerably. This is definately a good candidate for reshooting!
