Going Nowhereby FirstyComment: Interesting shot and composition. Your colors don't seem quite right, but that may just be me, having not seen the actual subject. Your border is mildly distracting and detracts somewhat from the overall effect...

Summit of Rannoch Moorby TallblokeComment: Nice shot, but it seems to be lacking something. The tree center right draws my eye, but it doesn't hold it. I keep wondering what is in the shadow portion of the shot.

Vasquez Rocks by TelehubbieComment: Burn the top corners of the sky into near black and this would be an almost perfect faux AA!

Daffodils, Washington Stateby jbsmithanaComment: Confusion sets in. Your title says the subject should be the dafodils, but your shot says that the subject should be the sky. Discarding the title, the sky alone is not enough to create a lasting impression.

Day into Nightby strangeghostComment: IMHO your sky doesn't match the rest of the picture. This makes the shot look unnatural and forced into a niche...

Low Tideby floydComment: Very nicely done. My only complaint (and it's a small one) is that there are too many boats IMHO.

Blossomsby rameviComment: AWESOME composition. there is not enough detail in the background though to make this a shot that is truly effective or truly AA like as I understand the works of the master. The detail that IS there is actually a little distracting from the simple elegance of the flowers. In other words, you need either more detail in the background or less. I'm not an expert in Ansels work, but this doesn't feel quite right to me for this challenge.

River Gorgeby JacksonComment: Great tonality and detail (sharpness) but it looks a little busy with no real subject to let your eye rest upon...
