Nice capture. Almost looks to plastic though. Did you NeatImage it? Great composition. Looks like it was a great show. You captured the energy of the show. You do have some jaggies and what looks like oversharpening artifacts. The first may be from resizing and the second may be just the back lighting but I don't think so. One of the best indoor concert type shots I've seen so far!

Wow, there are several things that many would say are wrong with this shot... It's cropped very tight at the bottom. It's square crop which IMHO is very hard to make look 'natural' for lack of a better term. The focus is a little shallow as shown most by his right hand pinkie. Ya cut the guys freakin head of for god's sake. But the more I look at it the more I feel that the gentleman here has a great love of life and music and has enjoyed all of it. I can here him playing...
Break the rules some more, I beg ya.

I felt drawn back to this shot and tears came to my eyes because I realized part of why this moves me so much. Put a guitar in this gentlemans hands and this would be my father if he were still alive... Thank you for this.

I really like this shot, but it doesn't say live music to me. It screams set up studio shot. Sorry but I can not score it very highly. BUT don't be surprised if you see me pick it as a favorite after the challenge...

This looks a little soft as if your shutter was too slow for the situation. I don't mind a little motion blur to give it that 'live' feeling like in his right hand, but the overall image looks like it has camera shake also...
