Last stopby jdenniqueComment: I don't think this has any wow factor. There's no pop with the DOF, there's no pop with the saturation, there's not really anything moving about the subject (pun not intended :P and although it's not a bad pic it just doesn't speak to me. |

Oil wagonby perjorgenComment: I think if the crop weren't so close in that the grainyness of the shot could really work for it. Or if there were somebody on the ladder. I just don't think there's any kind of real focal point or subject here that draws my attention. |

Gods of Ironby elizadebComment: Interesting, nice composition, but I'm not sure the negative effect does anything to add to the shot here. |

Water Car - SPMW 5890by aliquiComment: I don't think the tilt does anything to add to the photo here. Everything is just kind of drab. Might do well in black and white to get rid of some of the dirty feel of it. Or perhaps that's what you were going for and I'm missing the point completely? |

SP&S Ry.by ace flymanComment: Haunting and fun. If it weren't in a Trains challenge I would have no idea what it was though. The shape reminds me of one of those Pacman ghosts. |

The Passby rmezzoComment: Fun motion shot, though I wish that the rest of the train were a bit blurred and that the building right next to it were sharper, it almost feel like a hand held shot and it makes me feel a bit wobbly. |

7:50 North Bound - On Timeby The EskimoComment: I don't really think there's much going on here to pull in the viewer. It feels like your camera was around your neck and it accidentally took a shot. There's not real subject, the train is barely in the picture, the people are too far away to be the subject, the lamp post and the clock seem to be the subject. There's just not enough focus here on an acutal subject for me. |

The Spikeby rjvaitesComment: I like the wheels and the train in the background, it's a detail that really makes this shot work for me. I think cropping a little closer on the right would be nice. |

Derelict Trainby keithyoxComment: This is a great example of how to do an under the train shot. Great color, great depth, great lighting, and interesting composition with the rail coming at an angle from near the lower right corner like that. |
