Tranquillityby fotofanComment: For generations they had lived here. This little scratch of paradise in a seemingly endless expanse of sea. They lived without interference. They lived without prejudice. They lived without judgement. Then suddenly, without warning, that all changed. One night, without warning, something else came. Something evil. Something HUNGRY.

Sheerby chromeydomeComment: Ferdinand glanced up at the window, knowing that his target lay within. It was supposed to be a simple job, easy money, but now he knew he'd been set up. The eye was watching. So much for simplicity, thought Ferdinand, yet he smiled. Unbeknownst to his employer, his fee had just been raised considerably. Ferdinand stared into the red eye of doom and began to plot, this had just become interesting... |

You can check out anytime you like.....by ScapeshotsComment: ... meanwhile, at the Hotel California, the effects of the blast were felt and seen as an instant darkening of the sky, and a heat not unlike that of a blast furnace, instantly scarring any that stood unprotected in the open. |

Autumn Adventureby got2bgutsyComment: She was never heard from again. They say that she walked into the lands of another realm that day, through the autumn grasses. They say that she lives there still, a monarch of that realm.
They are wrong. |

Foundationsby jasonlpriceComment: The children looked on intently, as their morning oatmeal was prepared. Such was life in the "Andrew's School for the Children of Investment Bankers" in the year 2009. |

Royal Palaceby Rino63Comment: Statue 1: "One day my son, all that you see will be yours"
Statue 2: "Oh, thanks dad, considering we're rock, you've survived half a millenia, and being ruler of something I can never move around in fills me with such an insane glee."
Statue 1: "Don't be a smart-ass boy, I won't last forever, I am only granite"
Statue 2: "I knew you'd lost your Marble." |

Kingdom of still watersby ELLIPSComment: I-RB2-K00L4U rose out of the tepid waters, and surveyed the land, finding no major life readings of any kind. For a moment he was confused, but then it struck him. Perhaps his masters didn't actually mean he was too important to take part in the main invasion when they sent him to this backwards swamp land. Perhaps, just perhaps, he wasn't here on a very important top secret mission to assassinate the Prince of Algae Eaters after all. |

Morning Miracleby kosmikkreeperComment: Jill and Duncan were just settling in for a little afternoon slap and tickle in the soft and inviting grasses of his Uncle's Italian Riviera estate when it struck. "My god, it's beautiful", muttered Jill, moments before her flesh was seared from her bones. |
