Great way of portraying colour, works well. Not sure about the dark area in the front right, and would have been great if the background did not have the dark like through it......

I think maybe you have darkened this a little too much, as the first look to me was a stormy sky. The grey being so dark makes me think dark. A lighter shade of grey would have given the Sunny feel, and therefore the blue impression better.

Good submission for the challenge. I like the idea of the gradient background, but maybe the other way (darker at the bottom) would have been better, making the glass stand out slightly more, rather than blending in.

Love the idea, which screams colour. I am not sure the depth of field works. Maybe having all of them in focus would have been better. For some reason the out of focus bottles are annoying me and drawing attention. Shame about the grey behind some fo the bottles in the background. Also not sure about the border. I think it either needed to be bolder, or not there. It at the moment does nother for the photo

The noise in this photo detracts from the message. Also, the crop is too colse. The bottom of the wing, and the antennas, are lost, and the rest seems cramped.

Gorgeous Photo. The sogtness I presume is intentional to give the dreamy look (otjhers might whinge though). I Like the negative space. The crop works well. However, it doesn't really hit me with a sense of colour. I can see where you are coming from though...

Nice idea, but does not give a strong sense of colour. This could easily be a balck and white item. However, the texture is good, the composition also good. Would have been great with some more even light, as the upper part if overexposed, and the lower underdone.

I can see the vivid colours of him now. Depth of field is brilliant. Shame the background was not lighter to really make him stand out. Well taken and great crop of this.

Yep, Yellow. Like it but the knife going out of focus by that much causes a distracting smudge in the left hand side of the photo
