I wanted to build myself a light tent, but couldn't really think of anything to match the challenge's title, except for a slice of an orange (which I didn't have). I ended up using the Bristol paper I bought as a backdrop with a prop I always have standing around :-)

Lighting was my trusty SB-600 remote flash, bounced from the ceiling.

Slight crop, convert to b/w, resize, added frame, slight gamma and contrast.

perhaps better if you'd actually poured some in the glass for a more powerful depiction of the theme

Good shot, I think some wine actually in the glass would help say red to me.

lol my first idea that I tried with this challenge was a bottle of Little Red truck Merlot with an old vintage little red truck....I love the picture jsut for my own personal taste but I was not sure it gave enough color

ummmm.....Red Wine.....Now you are making me thirsty.
Good submission for the challenge. I like the idea of the gradient background, but maybe the other way (darker at the bottom) would have been better, making the glass stand out slightly more, rather than blending in.

I would like this more if there were some element of the work that showed the content of the bottle.

a good idea but without the glass already poured it is hard to 'see' the red...

well executed but ultimately boring i'm afraid...
